Yeah, I'm starting to think it might be time. They just made me feel a little uncomfortable when they explained everything to me.

Anyway, as I was driving today the car started smoking. I smelled some oil, so I pulled over and popped the hood. Behind the engine block, there was a small pool of oil.

My guess is that it's from when I punctured the filter, so I'm going to clean/degrease the engine bay and check tomorrow if there are any leaks.
