I have 109k on my V6 01 accord. I know its time to change the t-belt. Has anyone written up directions for this, or does anyone have any resources they could share that explains the steps in replacing the belt, water pump etc.....
Thanks.
Thanks.

i just finished replacing the timing belt & water pump in my daughter's '01 v6 accord ex with the help of a mechanically inclined friend and a haynes manual. it took longer than we expected due to a balky crank pulley bolt, which too way too much time, but otherwise if you follow the instructions in the manual you should be fine. you might figure between 4-6 hrs, give or take, depending on your expertise. the manual does say to remove the alternator, but we found that it wasn't necessary. there is a section in which you will be instructed to use a part of the battery bracket. make sure you do this. don't forget anti-freeze and good luck.
