1990 Accord EX Intake Questions
Hey all!
OK I don't know that much about cars, but i thought i would ask a few questions so i could get better. I have a 90' Accord that i would like to add a cold air system to. I recently added a ANSA Silverline series exhuast to it, and i heard AEM cold air is the way to go. What do you all think? Thanks!

RE: 1990 Accord EX Intake Questions
yea man i got a 91 accord lx.....
i put an aem cold air a couple months ago its been pretty good...gives the engine a great low sound...can also feel the difference in high rpms ...
the only thing is that the gas now sitcks when u hit it in low rpms.....but for the most part doesnt really make much of difference..
aem is a good choice ..good luck with that
to get rid of the gas sticking...im gonna buy a performance chip to recalibrate the Air-Fuel Ratio plus get some good horses out of it

RE: 1990 Accord EX Intake Questions
Thanks alot for the info guys. Does it matter what brand CAI i go for? Should i go for the brand name? (i.e. AEM, Injen) or should I go for more cost-effective? I mean i would love to get a AEM, however they are a little pricy. Any suggestions? Anybody using anything other than AEM, and do u like it?

I had an aem v2 (pricey, I know) but I can tell you that it really opened up my car. I could feel a major difference immidiately. I've heard good things about injen too, but personally, AEM would be my first choice.
