Default Header installation issue

Hi, sorry, I'm cofused looking at the screws that attach the old headers to the catalytic converter... they look like springs... is there any special way of working with these screws?

Default RE: Header installation issue

You may need a new set. Basically those springs are there to add flex to the system and in case your exhaust gets plugged those springs can slighlty open allowing exhaust to escape through them. If you look closesy a bolt runs through the springs.
