Hey Guys,
I recently purchased a 2006 Ex-v6 Coupe 244 hp.
I'm thinking about supercharging it, but my friend says i might need a new transmission.
Do you think i should supercharge it, and what else would i need to do, blow off valve?
O yea, how much hp u think it will add, and the 0-60 spec
Thanks

I think at low boost your tranny should be able to handle it, but thats a pure guess. I don't know the specs on the transmission. I'm told my differential and tranny are only good for about 200ft-lbs, but thats on a 01 4cyl. I personally perfer turbochargers, but everyone has a different opinion on that. I unfortunately can't really give you any 0-60 times or anything like that, but as with any car that has been equiped with a blower or a turbo you will certainly notice a big difference. I can see where you want to go ahead and go forced induction, being that you know the motor is in perfect condition and can handle it, but as everyone has said, keep in mind the warranty is done for the minute you do anything of that magnitude to it.
automatics handle Super chargers much better than turbos becuase of the smoother power delivery versus the sudden "on" once the turbo gets out of lag..........the 7th gen (03 to present accords use the exact same trans as the CL, RL, TL, etc and those can handle 300HP or more
