Backwards a little in the discuss, but doesn't a log manifold also have less chance of cracking and less heat radiance since it has less surface area?

that's what I've heard. less heat radiance would make perfect sense for the reason you stated.

Go right ahead and buy a cheap turbo...smart. Everyone looks for the best price, but why buy something that gives a WAY bigger chance of not working, exploding, leading, blowing motor, so forth so on, then instead of a well backed name kit? Sure its 3k or so...but you can trust it, as long as you install it right, and keep up with it...tune it, so forth so on again...any kit can go bad if not installed right, ebay is not a place to buy kits....I am sure the parts aren't that good....why would they sell it on ebay and not have a committed site selling those kits? Think about that....500-1200 for a cheap/worthless kit that might last a few runs/drives....I dont trust ebay with buy large parts like that......Be smart, spend the extra 2k now instead of 10K even more when blowing it up possibly and gettin a rental/junker/new car even....
