Yesterday I cleaned and then added protectant to the "ragg top" on the Saab.

Today I might wash the bug crusher (Pilot) - I think if a bug gets within 50 feet of that thing while you are driving there is some "vortex" that just sucks them into the front of that thing.

Washed it and checked the oil. Drove it to town.

Today I spent my usual $16.00 for the super, duper car wash and interior clean..
They did a #1 job as always.

Recharged the A/C

First time doing this in the 26 months since we bought the car ... I bought can and hose w/gauge separately off of eBay ... $19 in total.

Well, first off, the car has 216,000 miles. So I replaced plugs and wires with Denso, distributor cap and rotor, cabin air filters and windshield wipers. Monsoon season is about to start so the wipers were a must. Car idles so smooth now and accelerates a lot quicker than before. Oil and tranny fluid are on the to do list for the weekend.

After hitting a huge pot hole, I had to put on two new tires and replace a rim that got bent.

Boy, I forgot about this thread --

Over the last few weeks we removed all amber from the car:
- replaced front bumper turn signal lights with clear
- replaced front side lights (next to the headlight) with clear
- replaced tail lights with JDM Atezza

The car's looking very clean now with black/white/chrome.

I also had to but new wheel center caps as the ones that came with the [used] wheels we purchased started falling off. New chrome wheel caps and brushed nickel with Honda logo center emblems ... $13 later and we have aftermarket wheels that look a bit more like a Honda sport package.

Next we're thinking about pulling off the Accord and EX emblems on the trunk lid. I'd like to replace them with an emblem that represents something that relates to motorsports but still Honda brand ... any suggestions?

(And I still need to get it painted as the clearcoat peeling is pretty bad ... but looking for a reflective paint to keep the car cooler.

Did research on it and looked up what kind of aftermarket stuff there is for it.

Default Lots of stuff

Hello yall, I just stumbled across this thread, I could keep you reading for hours, but I will give you the short version. Recently I pulled the transmission, as it was slipping in d3 and d4, I grabbed one from a u pull it yard close by. Installed it and no reverse, went forward , no reverse, while I was there I swapped in a new pass. side axle. Drove it for 3 weeks till we could get a appointment with Mr. Transmission in Tyler Tx. Now $2400.00 later it shifts great
I also swapped in a complete interior from a donor 97 accord, IT WAS NOT FUN. However it looks great and the old carpet was junk, mom would be proud.
Next up on the list is to replace the 400 dollar phone I stepped on while removing the rear seat, dont ask, lol. Future plans call for some acura rims or later accord ones, but the tires are brand new so it will be sometime before that, a exhaust upgrade to get rid of the flowmaster 40, I am looking at a borla or something similar.
