Default Timing belt: Dealer vs Shop?

I have a 2000 Honda Accord, 4 cylinder with 73K miles and time to get the timing belt/water pump replaced.
Now the question is where should I get them done?
I am not a car techie and have always been riped off from local honda dealers. Went to 4 different dealers and all are the same -- bad work and rip you off.
Both dealer and other shops charge similar amount; so cost is not in the equation.
For a major job like timing belt, should I trust a local shop? or I should still go to the worthless dealers?

I'd let the dealer handle that one unless you are 100% sure that the said shop is competent at working on hondas and uses honda oem parts.

1st option see if you can find a shop the SPECIALIZES on Hondas ,, they will use factory parts and it would be cheaper than the dealer

2nd option the DEALER

WHERE DO YOU LIVE ??
