1995 accord lx head gasket repair steps and tips
Im having someone replace my headgaskets and i just wanted to know of all the parts that can be checked and replaced also during the headgasket repair. Also i was curious about theprocess of what the headgasket repair consisted of such as what needs to be done to fix this part because i read something about shaving headgasket before replacing.

OP - If you are not sure when the timing belt and that were last done - or if you are close to needing it done I'd do that as well.
I'd have the head "worked" while off. And by that I mean have the machine shop check the valves, seats, guides, ect. Of course be sure it is straight.
Last, "why" did the head gasket go? Yea it is a gasket and can fail after a long life but usually "something" helped it go.

Never seen that method? I've only seen the single plate but that is me.

I'd probably done things differently if I had done more troubleshooting first.
