1996 Honda Accord Electrical Problem
Hi all,
I am new and was wondering if there was some insight to my 1996 Honda Accord LX 5-speed manual electrical issues. Friday evening it "died" on me as I pulled into the garage. There were no lights, horn, locks or windows activity. I tried unsuccessfully several times to start the car. The next day I pulled fuses to check them and after the 3rd fuse was pulled and replaced, everything light up (the key was in the ignition). The car started on every attempt afterwards. However, Sunday when I attempted to start the car, the engine would not turn over. I stopped after several attempts when smoke came out of the exhaust. I also pushed it out the garage when I noticed the smoke smelled of burned wires. Any idea of where my problem lies?
Thanks.

This is going to be fun.....
Check the battery connections. Recheck all fuses (with battery dis-connected), let us know which ones and which fuse panel are blown....if any.
You said the smoke came out the tail pipe, but had the smell of burnt wires?
Also, any mod's to the car (aftermarket sound system, alarm, remote start, ect) we should be aware of.
