2003 accord 2.4 tranny problems
Hello, I'm very new to forums. I'm looking for help because I see nothing online about my problem. My drive "D" indicator is flashing and the car won't shift out of second. Also the emissions light is on, the tranny fluid is fine and I don't know where to start for this problem. Any help at all is much appretiated and thanx in advance.

Begin with getting the error codes. Some places like AutoZone will read the codes for free (hoping you'll buy parts).
Get the actual code numbers (P1234 or whatever) not just the guy's explanation.
I'll move this to general tech. New-users area is really just for welcome & introductions.

I think valve b and c are together as an assembly. I would inspect the electrical connector for any damage of wires nearby. Also check that there is no dirt/oil inside of the connector.
When was the last time you changed the transmission fluid?

I've only owned the car less than a year, I bought from a honda dealer and was told that was done. Now the problem hasn't happened in a couple months, but I plan to get under the car when I have some time. I do appreciate the info, thank you. I still cannot find anything about the problem anywhere on the internet and I do not want to go to a dealership. Do you know if I just were to let it go, would it in fact cause damage?
