Default 2004 accord coupe window

Hey all. Question about my accord. Just replaced the window motor and regulator for the driver side, window was working fine for a couple days until it stopped working again yesterday. The switch is functional as far as I can tell, did the motor get burnt out that fast? Maybe a fuse? Not sure anyone have any ideas?

The root cause can be anything along the circuit, so wirring, the switch, the new motor. My advice is to troubleshoot electrically with a volt meter or test light.

The quickest test is to remove the door panel, unplug the connector to the motor. That connector should have two thicker wires (red/blk and red/yel). Hook a 12V light bulb/test light across those two pins. Press window up and window down and see if enough power is supplied to the bulb to turn it on. Your results will dictate the next step in the process.

Lightbulb idea is pretty good I'll have to see if I've got one laying around, thanks.
