Got a timing light to check spark timing? That would probably be a good idea after replacing it. I don't know how consistant they are from one distributor to another.

Easiest real work beyond an oil change I've done on a car. Got both parts replaced in about an hour, and half that was me rummaging around trying to find tools because my big tool chest isn't with me atm. It's damn nice working on a car that actually has room in the engine bay...makes me never want to own a Z again. Runs great, grand total of $250 ($100 for car, $75 for tow from shop to my apt, $75 shipped for parts) and I have a good running 92 accord, thats in decent shape inside and out, working a/c, with 140k miles...I think calling it a steal is an understatement, lol. Should last me at least through college until I build up enough funds to feel comfortable buying another sports car. I'm probably going to move out to CO after college, so I doubt this will work as a beater there, heh.

Anyways, thanks for the help/info guys, distributor went in smooth with no forcing, and seems to have sealed fine with acceptably accurate enough timing.
