cumminsman, you are talking about the main fuel relay.

Bad solder connections on MFR problems can cause the fuel pump not to get power, injector problems, and some other problems. I don't know if a bad MFR would cause the car not to throw a spark.

In the Hondas that I have owned, the main relay has nothing to do with the coil, distributor, or spark. The only cause/effect would be if the main relay fails to supply power to the ECU itself. Then you get NOTHING.

The ICM (ignitor) is located inside the distributor cap. It is not user repairable in my opinion.
Autozone has the equipment to test this module for free. If the ICM is bad, the CEL does not always light up.

The main fuel relay is located under the dash board on the driver side in '92/'93 Accord. It is repairable by re-soldering the leads. Autozone has NO equipment to test this relay.
