I just bought a 99 accord ex 4cyl and it is jerking whenever coming to a complete stop. It seems like the shift from 2nd to 1st gear is where the transmission has problems. I was warned that this year accord has tranny problems. The problem isn't any worse than a jerking every now and then when I come to a complete stop. I guess my question is...is there any concern for my tranny completely crapping out on me or is there anything I can do to prevent it from happening? there's 126,000 miles on the engine and I don't want to put another $2,000 worth of a tranny swap if I can prevent it. Any advice?

 

Mine is doing the same thing. I just bought it a week ago,it's a 98 tho....I'm anxious to see your answers....
