If the master cylinder is not leaking, I would probably leave in place. It's will cost at least twice as much to install as the slave.
That said, I installed the MC in my daughter's Acura 2.2CL, and then discovered the slave was leaking as well.
If you diy, I would defintely try the slave first and see how MC performs afterwards. If you pay someone else, it may bemore cost effective to bundle them together.
