Default Brake pins

Ichanged the brakes on my 97 Accord a few years ago and was wondering what kind of lube/grease to use on the pins? I have used some bearing grease that I use for my wheel bearings in my boat, but that seems to wear off after a 4-6 months and they start sqeaking. I have lubed them twice now, but the sueak comes back. I have ceramic pads and have put the red brake quiet stuff on the back of the pads, but I am pretty sure it is the pins that are my problem. Thanks!

You can find brake grease at places like AutoZone. It's relatively thick & gooeystuff, usually silicone-based.

Those pins have rubber boots. Are those boots OK?

Are you sure it's the pins making the noise? They barely move.

non factory pads have a tendency to squeak more so than Honda pads ' also you might have to resurface the rotors ..
