Default Change hood

I have 2005 accord coupe ex-v6. My son changed to fancy color hood but I want to replace back to original one. How can I change the hood?

Maybe you can find one in a junkyard that's already painted the right color?

Probably have to unclip/remove the windshield washer fluid hoses attached to underside of hood, then loosen/remove bolts on each of the hood hinges (2 bolts on each hinge) that are attached to the hood. Will need another person to help hold the hood. Install is reverse of removal.

The windshield washers are not mounted on the hood, on 7th gen Accords. I think it would just be a matter of unbolting the hinges and struts. You will likely need some help. I have always loved the fact that there are no washer squirters on the hood. They are in the cowl, just under the hood and above the wipers.

Now I understand....

I bet the hinges (#2, 3) are in place. Then you just unbolt the funny-color hood & bolt on the old one. Sounds simple, right?

Remove the prop cylinders (#14, 16).

You'll need a couple people to hold the hood while someone takes out the bolts that hold it to the hinges. Then hold the original hood in position while bolting it on.

There should be some movement in the bolt holes, so it's a tedious process of trial & error to get the alignment correct.
