How do I troubleshoot this?

The lights come on for the AC controls. Do I check the fuses? If so, which ones? Under Hood Fuse/Relay box: Condenser Fan? Heater Motor?

I did a search, but some of the air conditioner questions seemed like they figured out already which part failed. I need to figure out first which part isn't working.

 

Possibly your blower power transistor.

Took it to a garage. Mechanic said it was the blower motor so he ordered the part and tried to install it and it's not the problem. He says it's something electrical between the blower and the ground. Any thoughts on what the problem could be?

He's trying to get his hands on an electrical schematic for a Honda, but won't have it until Monday. Any suggestions on where I can get one?

 

Read these two threads that cover exactly the same thing you are dealing with. I would first try to get HVAC codes (pretty simple to do). Then you will probably have to replace/repair the transistor.
