Possible transmission caused shaking?

Hi PA - I was thinking the same thing when she was telling me about the sound (I believe you may be thinking CVs). But she said she didn't think it was occurring when she turned the wheels. But I will follow up with your thought and get back to this thread. Thanks for checking in.

Thought: can a deteriorating CV contribute to the shake but only when cold/start ups?

A clicking sound could be caused by worn CV joints, but it is difficult to diagnose noises over the internet.

The next step is to start doing an inspection of the suspension components and CV joints. Try to see what kind of play both the inner and outer CV joints have in the horizontal and vertical directions. If one side is significantly loose, then that may be your problem.
