Timing hel

Ok, juat to make sure im understanding you, the problem may have to do with the distributor button not being properly timed as well? Im going back through my grounds right now, thanks for the tip bud!

Something is draining the battery super fast from what you're telling me. Usually a new battery is good for 30-40 tries on an engine that won't start and is not recharging as a result. But if it's only a few and it dies, then it's getting all the juice sucked out somewhere.
