Yes, I did that.

I had a Honda mechanic shop look at it today. He said that the VTEC solenoid valve was sticking on, thus not letting oil pressure to the rear valves and keeping the rear cylinders cut off. It was first reading 2-3 PSI oil pressure when he hooked it up, after cleaning the solenoid valve it went up to 17-20 at idle and then higher at full throttle. Once he got it cleaned it is no sticking off. So he thinks its a problem with the solenoid valve. He also suggested to do the VCM disable mod to bypass that whole system. Also, that may explain the TCS light because the sensor for it in the master cylinder also reads manifold vacuum. I noticed yesterday when I drove it to his shop that the ECO light never came on. What does this sound like to yall or my like you SeanJordan?

I thought the solenoid was what you replaced after you tried cleaning it

Yes sir, I did replace the solenoid valve and the oil pressure sensor. I bought one that you posted from ebay when this mess started. Could I have gotten a faulty solenoid, sure, could I have gotten a faulty oil pressure switch, yep. I may go home, clean the old solenoid valve real good and put it back on with the new sensor, and see if anything changes. Is the VCM disable mod something worth doing?

Damn just bad luck. Ask the sellerif you can return the part? If not make a claim through eBay letting them know the part was bad and they will decide in your favor. I wouldn't do the delete but that's just my opinion.
